Service Coordinator
About the Divisions:
ARA (https://aragroup.com.au/) is a multi-divisional installation, service and product business located throughout Australia and New Zealand, with five divisions working together to deliver fully integrated solutions: from turnkey electrical, mechanical, manufacturing and distribution of security products, security and fire protection services, cleaning services, building maintenance and remedial services.
The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Service Coordinator to join the team in Auckland. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this critical role is part of a team responsible for providing daily operational and administrative support for service contracts for the Security, Servcore, and Building Services projects and service teams.
Working closely with field staff, subcontractors and clients, you will provide daily administrative and operational support, keep systems updated, and maintain service documentation to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate service jobs from initial notification through to completion
- Maintain and update customer portals and internal job management systems
- Generate accurate job cards and work orders for field staff and subcontractors
- Order and track materials, stock and transport needs for ongoing works
- Monitor SLAs and proactively report on performance
- Support compliance and documentation for health and safety requirements
- Assist with stock inventory coordination and reporting
- Participate in subcontractor onboarding and compliance tracking
- Provide ongoing support to field staff and service administrators
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced service coordination or scheduling environment
- Experience working with job management systems and customer portals
- Basic understanding of electrical, security, and/or data communication terminology is beneficial
- Proven multi-tasker with excellent communication, customer service and organisational skills with attention to detail
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
