About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a motivated Site Engineer with proven experience in New Zealand’s commercial construction industry. This role take on both technical delivery and relationship management, you will be reviewing and coordinating engineering design and supporting the site delivery of structural and engineering work. This includes interpreting drawings to ensure work aligns with specification and standards, identify value engineering options and work closely with sub contractors to communicate design intent to provide smooth delivery of work.
You will also provide QA, manage site documentation, inspections, and support the PM and Site Manager with reporting
What We’re Looking For
- A Degree or Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering
- At least 2 years of engineering or construction experience within New Zealand
- Experience with concrete structures preferred
- Sound understanding of NZ engineering standards and building codes
- Excellent communication skills and confident working on busy construction sites
