Immediate start for an experienced Site Manager to take over a large project near Queenstown, with the main structure complete the next phase is to finish the building envelope and facades and on to interiors and fit out. 

Supported by a very successful local Project Manager this could be a contract for the term of the project or a permanent ole if your keen to settle and work long term in Queenstown. The business is a successful builder and developer with significant resources and proven track record of delivering quality projects through respectful relationships and honest communication.

In the role you will review and improve the short term construction programs, build a cohesive team on site, and remain close to the action to quickly trouble shoot problems and support your sub contractors. You will build a safety first culture, provide weekly site reports including documenting design issues and potential risks. 

We are looking for:

  • 5-10 years site management experience from New Zealand
  • Ideally experience building in a regional location
  • Experience on multistory apartments advantageous
  • related construction qualifications
  • Proven problem solving ability
  • Excellent communication & relationship skills
  • Team focused
