Technical Systems Assessor

The Company:
This role is with a NZ business exporting globally. They are a hugely successful food processing company with a large site in Taranaki (where this role is based) and multiple others across the country. With a good reputation as an employer and food manufacturer, this company offers job security, future progression, and a supportive team.
 
The Role:
The Technical Systems Assessor reports to the Technical Manager and sits in the technical compliance team on site. The role supports implementation and monitoring of Quality System and supports Quality Controllers to complete complex activities.
 
Requirements:
Communication and attitude are key. You must work well in a team, be able to clearly communicate complex ideas and form positive relationships and be interested in learning and progressing. You will come with prior experience in food, dairy, beverages, or meat industries, with experience in QA, food compliance, and auditing.
The ideal candidate will have most of the following:

• Microbiology, Food Science, or similar tertiary qualification.
• Auditing and HACCP training and certification advantageous.
• 2+ years in QA, Food Safety, and/or auditing.
• Experience in food manufacturing or similar.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Positive attitude, self-motivated.
• Looking for a long term role with growth opportunity.
• Currently NZ based with the right to work.

 
This is an intermediate role that would best suit someone with 2-5 years of experience, however there may be flexibility for the right person.
