Senior Estimator
We’re looking for an experienced Estimator, ideally at senior level to join the team in New Plymouth. Reporting into the Commercial Manager – this is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience pricing and securing large scale commercial and residential projects who can contribute to the successful acquisition of new work. You will have the opportunity to lead tendering opportunities, utilizing your strategic nous to price work effectively and competitively in order to support the wider commercial team with Business Development and the delivery of profitable construction projects.
This is a new position with the potential to grow and lead a team, whilst using your previous experience and connections to build and maintain external client relationships. There’s a supportive team in place here and real opportunities to develop a cohesive unit and achieve long term career stability.

Key Skills Needed:
Previous experience in estimating and/or quantity surveying on commercial construction projects
Confident communicator with both clients and subs
Eye for detail and ability to drive profitability of a project
Excellent organisational skills and ability to handle multiple tenders
Sound knowledge of NZ Contracts including NZS3910 and CCA 2002
