Quantity Surveyor (Civil)

Due to secure forward work from repeat clients we are looking for a civil infrastructure estimator / quantity surveyor to join a niche construction consulting firm who enjoy a social yet professional

Working on a range of civil construction projects from roading and 3 Waters through to large public infrastructure upgrades you will support clients with front end estimating and cost planning of new projects, and then on to assist with procurement, risk management, and contract administration during construction. 
 
You will have the support of the team of QSs and the mentoring of an experienced manager. Based in a professional office with flexible working options you can enjoy career and lifestyle in one of the world’s most incredible locations.

Experience

  • Over 5 years Quantity Surveying experience within New Zealand
  • At least 3 years Estimating / Cost Planning on Civil Infrastructure projects
  • Good experience measuring and preparing Schedules of Quantities (SoQs) 
  • Related qualifications in Quantity Surveying
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
