Deliver a diverse mix of projects with a well-established PM consultancy

I’m working with a respected Auckland-based project management consultancy looking to bring in a Senior Project Manager to support a key new client and growing portfolio of work.

They’re a tight-knit team of around 20, operating in a flat structure where everyone contributes and senior people stay hands-on. The culture is grounded, professional, and values attitude as much as ability.

The Opportunity

You’ll be delivering a range of projects typically in the $30m–$50m space, including education, churches, and commercial/retail developments. The portfolio covers new builds, refurbishments, and reclads and mostly fall within the Auckland region.

The role is will see you take projects from the latter front-end stage through delivery taking charge of contract administration. You’ll be expected to pick up projects quickly, work with minimal oversight, and run them confidently end-to-end.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven delivery experience across $30m–$50m projects
  • Strong contract administration and delivery capability
  • Solid understanding of NZ contracts and payment processes
  • Background within a professional PM consultancy (client-side)
  • Able to plan/programme (MS Project, Word, Excel)
  • Self-sufficient and comfortable running projects with limited oversight
