Project Manager
Join a highly regarded project management consultancy leading some of the South Island’s most significant building and development projects.
With a strong pipeline of work built through their long-standing client relationships they are looking to expand their team. With a reputation for developing and promoting internally, this is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your project management career.
Working closely with clients, consultants and contractors, you’ll lead projects from early planning and design through procurement, construction and completion. You’ll be trusted to provide commercial advice, manage stakeholders, challenge project outcomes and ensure successful delivery for your clients.
You’ll take ownership of projects from concept through to completion, managing programme, budget, risk and stakeholder outcomes. You’ll be involved in:
- Managing project planning and delivery strategies
- Leading consultant and design teams
- Design management and coordination
- Procurement and contract administration
- Risk, programme and cost management
- Client liaison and stakeholder engagement
- Monitoring construction progress and project performance
- Driving successful project outcomes from inception to completion
Ideally you’ll bring:
- 5+ years’ project management experience
- Related tertiary qualifications preferred
- Experience delivering commercial grade or infrastructure projects
- Good knowledge of NZS3910 and NZ building methods
- Experience coordinating design and leading consultant teams
- Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management capability
- A collaborative and professional approach
