OPENING DOORS
The Petone branch of this global company is a specialist manufacturer of custom and standardized doors for specific commercial and industrial applications that are carefully made to withstand fire, sound, and security risks. To this, they mix high-grade materials and the latest manufacturing technology.

THE ROLE
This role is all about efficiency and accuracy. Each door is made of multiple components – your attention will be on the sheet metal aspects of every door that’s produced on-site. Starting with a 3D concept/manufacturing drawings you will create programs that are ready to be loaded onto the Amada laser cutter in the workshop. You will frequently use Solidworks and Nesting software as well as Excel and Microsoft Office.
 
This is a full-time permanent role 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday to Friday
               
UP TO THE CHALLENGE?
We’re looking for a detail-orientated and analytical person with a background in manufacturing, and engineering and ideally related to sheet metal. Does this sound like you?:

  • Experience with CAD software (Solidworks)
  • Experience with flatbed CNC Machinery
  • Data-driven and high analytical ability
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communicator – verbal & written
  • Driven by teamwork and collaboration
