This is an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to be involved in delivering practical design, project management, and maintenance engineering solutions for heavy manufacturing/processing projects. Projects ranging from power generation, pulp & paper and forestry, to large manufacturing plants.

The Role.
The role is responsible for designing and project managing heavy rotating and static equipment (everything from pressure vessels, piping and boilers), to required standards, and taking these designs through to commissioning on site and client handover.

Specifically, you will:

  • Undertake on site visits to understand client’s needs
  • Design engineering proposals and solutions
  • Oversee fabrication, including site installation supervision and commissioning as required.

The person.
To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be a tertiary qualified Mechanical Engineer (preferably with CPEng registration)
  • Have proven experience at a senior level designing heavy industrial plant.
  • Have lead projects and managed contractors

You will be a self-starter, dedicated to providing the best solutions and information possible, skilled in working to tight deadlines and of course, able to develop good working relationships with people at all levels.
