Operations Manager
Our multi-divisional install, service and product delivery client deliver fully integrated solutions: from turnkey electrical, mechanical, manufacturing and distribution of security products and building maintenance. With an internal promotion we are looking for an Operations Manager to join the team in Auckland.
This critical role is responsible for managing the Auckland security and building services projects and service teams. You will play a crucial role in ensuring all services are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the project and services team with a focus on safety, quality, and performance
- Coordinate project workflow through overseeing forward planning and resource allocation
- Foster strong client relationships and maintain regular communication to ensure expectations are met
- Ensure accurate job costing, quotes, and ensure financial controls are in place
- Oversee procurement of equipment and materials, ensuring best value and timely delivery
- Submit accurate labour forecasts, time sheets, and monthly contract performance reports
- Manage subcontractor and supplier performance to meet contractual obligations
What We’re Looking For
- An experienced Operations Manager with leadership experience
- Proven experience managing trade staff, preferably within construction industry environment
- Proven ability managing quotes and labour and project costs effectively
- A multi-tasker with excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
