A unique opportunity to take on a senior project planning role supporting the delivery of construction and infrastructure projects across Papua New Guinea.

Working closely with Project Managers and senior leadership, you’ll lead project planning, procurement scheduling and logistics coordination across a range of complex remote projects requiring strong programme management and global supply chain oversight. This role will suit someone who enjoys operating in challenging environments and seeks responsibility and ability to support the development of a Pacific nation. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing detailed construction programmes and master schedules
  • Leading procurement planning across international supply chains
  • Managing critical path analysis, forecasting and project reporting
  • Supporting cost planning and commercial forecasting
  • Identifying project and procurement risks and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Supporting claims, variations and delay analysis

We are looking for:

  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction or Quantity Surveying
  • Strong construction planning and programming experience
  • Experience with procurement, cost planning or quantity surveying highly regarded
  • Several years’ experience working on commercial or industrial projects
  • Advanced MS Project capability
  • Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate confidently within challenging project environments
