About the Role:
This is a newly created role, and a great career opportunity for an experienced Product Development Engineer to support the design and development activities for the company’s product pipeline. You will report to the CTO and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implements efficient, scalable, and cost-effective solutions. Your responsibilities include a variety of tasks across product development, product realisation, risk management, usability, quality, and health and safety.
As you are joining the company in its very early stages, you’ll have a real impact on the company’s future and upcoming success. This role is permanent, full-time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday).
About You, the Candidate:
This role would suit someone who is looking to further develop their career, enjoys a challenge, is self-motivated, and is excellent at collaborating with others.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications, experience, and characteristics:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role in pharmaceuticals or medical devices.
- Risk management experience.
- GDP experience.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Happy to be based in Palmerston North (essential).

This role pays $80-120K but is highly dependant on experience. Most candidates will sit in the $85-110K range.
