Projects & Engineering Manager

CarbonScape is a tough-tech start-up company, based in sunny Blenheim, that has developed a novel, patented process for producing biographite anode material for Li-ion batteries. CarbonScape’s unique biographite anode technology is a cost effective solution for an environmentally positive battery material that can be produced almost anywhere.

Such is the potential of CarbonScape, it has recently received a USD18m investment from Finnish-Swedish Corporate Stora Enso Oyj to drive the next stage of its commercialisation and CarbonScape is now growing its team at home and abroad to accelerate its drive towards the decarbonisation of the fast growing lithium ion battery supply chain.

CarbonScape ambition is to scale and commercialise manufacturing facilities to supply battery gigafactories with sustainable biographite anode – reducing the current supply chain’s reliance on traditional graphite anode made from crude oil or from mining.
