Quality Systems Manager

A growing Multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy is seeking a Quality Systems Manager to support FMCG Process and Project Delivery Teams. 

A Newly Created Role:

  • Workloads are increasing, particularly in the dairy industry and there’s an increasing need for more quality paperwork, checks, process assurance, and follow-up
  • Project managers are currently handling this, but there’s a need for this to be handled by an expert, whilst freeing up availablity of the Project Manager.
  • This position will allow the team to be front footed, keep up and exceed client expectations, whilst maintaining their high delivery standards.

The job:

  • Managing and improving quality processes for project delivery. Projects are typically industrial process delivery, with a large number of dairy projects
  • Responding to and managing client quality queries
  • Preparing and maintaining quality plans, ensuring project teams follow agreed steps.
  • Taking ownership of quality workload currently falling on busy project managers.
  • Helping build and shape this new role as it grows
  • This role does not include quality engineering, such as pressure testing etc – there’s in-house engineers who will continue to be the experts in their fields.

About You:

  • Experience in project-based quality from a similar industry such as dairy, FMCG, Petrochemical, or services heavy civil or commercial construction
  • Consultancy experience will be ideal, but we’re open to people from other industries.
  • Quality Systems Management experience is essential, with the ability to manage across multiple disciplines
  • Ability to work with industry leaders, and generate buy in from others on quality processes.
