The Opportunity
The organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Food Technologist to take a lead role in the development of new products from concept through to commercialisation. You’ll lead multiple projects concurrently, working in a team to ensure all products meet quality, regulatory, and commercial requirements while guiding projects through the full NPD process.
 
You, the Candidate
The position suits someone who is confident operating with autonomy, capable of driving cross-functional collaboration, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, while also offering guidance to junior staff.
 
The successful candidate will have the following skills, qualifications, and experience –

  • A tertiary qualification in Food or Dairy Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in NPD within dairy (preferred) or wider FMCG industry.
  • Proven product development project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate, influence, and engage across teams.
  • A proactive, hands-on, and solutions-focused approach.
  • Adaptability and resilience when working in a dynamic environment.
  • You must have NZ full working rights.
