The Opportunity
The organisation is seeking an experienced Food Technologist to take on a role in the development of new products from concept through to commercialisation. You’ll lead development projects, working in a team to ensure all products meet quality, regulatory, and commercial requirements while guiding projects through the full NPD process. This is in a fast-paced environment, and you’ll be tasked with product development from concept through to commercialisation, including packaging development. 
 
You, the Candidate
The position suits someone who is confident in their ability to work autonomously, while also working well in a team managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
 
The successful candidate will have the following skills, qualifications, and experience –

  • A tertiary qualification in Food or Dairy Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in NPD within dairy (preferred) or wider FMCG industry.
  • Product development management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Packaging development experience. 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate, influence, and engage across teams.
  • A proactive, hands-on, and solutions-focused approach.
  • Adaptability and resilience when working in a dynamic environment.
  • You must have NZ full working rights.
