Site Manager (Commercial Construction)

New project needs a Site Manager in Queenstown, join an established construction business with decades of successful project delivery from commercial offices warehousing, hotels, and retail to interior fit outs and extensions. They have a good local reputation and with that brings a strong forward work load.

You will assist with the pre-construction planning, programming and site establishment and then work with the Project Manager to deliver the work. You will be plan and manage site work and lead foreman, tradesmen and sub-contractors ensuring a high standards of quality are met in the safest way possible. You will troubleshoot problems and work with the PM and consultants on design issues.

Your back ground?

  • Site Manager experience on commercial builds, including concrete structures 
  • A trade carpentry background is preferred with excellent H&S knowledge and commitment.
  • You will comfortable with project systems and reporting 
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams is essential.
