Shape of things to come
This position focuses solely on the tooling design on which the larger machine is based upon. You will use specialist software (COPRA) to supplement your own technical knowledge to design tool profiling that works for the client and is practical to manufacture for the internal team.

Reporting to the Design Manager you will work collaboratively with the design team on multiple projects simultaneously.

The right profile for the job
We need a proven and experienced Roll Tool Designer. Haven’t designed roll tools? Please don’t apply. But if you’re a whiz on Autodesk and COPRA, let’s talk! To be eligible for this position, you will tick the following boxes:

  • Experience in designing roll forming tools
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical)
  • Proficient on Autodesk design software
  • 2D/3D tool design software (COPRA)
  • Well organised with strong analytical skills
  • High standards for quality and efficiency
  • Team player with a sense of humour
