Graduate Engineer
Established design & build contractor is looking for a Graduate Engineer with 1-2 years of experience to join their design and engineering team in Auckland. This is an entry level role for a recent graduate who has gained 1-2 years industry experience and looking to work for a leading contractor with a role offering growth into Project Engineering, Project Management, Design or Site Management.
Supporting an experienced Design Manager you’ll be part of a tight-knit, social, high-performing team delivering challenging construction projects in the $20m to $100m range across New Zealand.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support and coordinate construction design work
- Liaise with architects, engineers, and sub contractors
- Review workshop drawings and problem solve issues
- Monitor design program and identify any risks
- Visit sites to help resolve design issues
What You’ll Bring
- 1-2 years’ NZ experience in engineering, construction or related sector
- Degree in Engineering
- Understanding of NZ design and construction methods
- Familiarity with design/project systems Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD etc
