Project Engineer

In this role you will support the front end Engineering and Design team through design coordination, risk management, logistics, procurement and planning of new projects. You will then support the delivery phase with design solutions, quality assurance and design changes / coordination. As a specialist support to the Design Manager and Project Managers your work will be broad, and you will be required to problem solve and build great relationships with contractors, consultants, and clients. 

Projects could be locally or regionally based so this role suits someone who is open to some travel when required. 

We are looking for someone keen to grow their career with a business who can offer long term progression, candidates should have the following:

  • Engineering or Construction Degree or Diploma
  • Over 3 years engineering or construction experience in New Zealand
  • Experience working on complex building or infrastructure projects 
  • Ability to understanding the design process and engineering drawings and specifications
  • Able to work well on site and in the office
  • Motivated and professional approach
