Project Manager

This specialist construction is thriving and due to growth is seeking a Project Manager to plan and manage multiple building projects in the $300k to $2m range across regional locations.

Working in a motivated and close knit team this is an autonomous role which could be based out of Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch as you will travelling nationally to visit sites and clients 

The Job

This division enjoys a diverse range of fast paced projects under $3m and could range from building extensions and fits outs through to building services (HVAC) upgrades, industrial plant improvements or building maintenance. 

Working with an experienced team your focus will be the planning and programing of projects, contract management and leadership of your site teams. You will support the design coordination and documentation, problem resolution and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high quality. 

A key focus will be your ability to work closely with client and specialist consultants to deliver complex work in live and operating environments. 

Required background

  • New Zealand experienced Project manager
  • trade or tertiary qualifications 
  • Proven success managing commercial or Industrial construction projects
  • Excellent programming and planning skills
  • Experienced with project systems and reporting
  • Positive and motivating leadership style.
  • A proven ability to build collaborative working relationships with clients / stakeholders
  • Ability to travel away for work from Monday to Friday
