TURNING COMPLEXITY IN TO SIMPLICITY
For decades this Blenheim based Engineering company have designed, manufactured and delivered their innovative range of freeze dryers that have endless industry applications. From humble beginnings the team have developed and refined a system that not only simplifies the complex lyophilisation process but is an exceptionally effective “low-heat” method for drawing moisture from food, chemical and pharmaceutical products without damaging them. They custom build machinery that can be scaled from compact portable units for R&D/test-runs through to full-sized multi-tonne cambers that are capable of drying 1000kg+ of product at a time. With a recent surge in customer orders and plans for further R&D projects, there is no better time to get on-board and be a part of this Kiwi success story.
BRINGING IT ALL TOGETHER
In this diverse role you will work with multiple teams at every stage of the project life cycle. Your core purpose is to ensure that all components of a project will tie together when the client is handed the “keys” to their new machine. You will work closely with the Sales Team to help them consult clients. You will collaborate with the Design / Drafting office to select variable components / controls for each project and ensure all technical “as built” documentation is prepared. Careful planning and on-time procurement of materials will be key to ensure each project is on schedule. Before the machinery & componentry reaches its’ new home, you will have user manuals, P&ID’s, electrical schematics and testing / validation documentation organised to ensure a seamless installation. During the process you will have an eye for new ways to improve and add further value to clients.
ARE YOU UP TO THE CHALLENGE?
This critical role requires a unique individual with a deep understanding of refrigeration systems, electrical componentry, mechanics and PLC’s. You will ideally hold a tertiary Engineering qualification and have proven experience in a Technical Process Engineer / Project Management. You will need to be a strong communicator and be proficient with a range of PC applications & information systems.
WHAT MAKES THIS “JOB” GREAT?
If moving to the beautiful Marlborough region isn’t reason enough, then this challenging opportunity to deliver projects around the world should push over the line! On offer is a healthy salary package that goes much further than it would in NZ’s overpriced main cities. A short drive to work will also leave you with more time to fish (..or spend time with the family)
