Lead a large new commercial grade project in central Wellington for a national construction business.

Join an experienced team with the right balance of systems to deliver quality buildings without being slowed by admin and multiple layers of management. 

This multistory building offers a number of technical challenges and requires an experienced Project Manager who is able to manage diverse stakeholder relationships, support design coordination, develop critical path programmes and then lead a large site team through the delivery of foundations, structure, and facades with a focus on contract management, reporting and risk management. 

This is a rare opportunity to take on a significant project from start to finish with the team and resources to ensure its success. 
 
Experience

  • Extensive Project Management experience from a Tier 1 / 2 contractor
  • Success delivering large building/commercial projects
  • Experience with complex building services preferred 
  • Good NZ contracts management & building experience
  • Proven planning & programming skills (MS project)
  • Excellent communication and relationship ability
  • Trade or tertiary qualifications

It is critical you have experience building high rise structures in New Zealand with sound understanding of local contracts, engineering and building codes
