Hamilton location – Food / Dairy projects –  Project management / on-site commissioning

Are you an experienced Project Manager with proven experience working on large dairy projects? If so, we want to hear from you!

Our client is a niche multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy providing engineering design and construction of production processing plant, utilities and supporting infrastructure in the food and beverage industries.

With existing multi-disciplinary engineering teams, they are currently looking to expand their engineering team, and as such are looking for a Project Manager to join the team to lead the project management and on-site commissioning of large dairy projects.
 
You will see projects through from concept to completion- being involved in scope & costings, concept and detailed design, and on-site project delivery.
 
To be successful in the role you will have:

  • A tertiary engineering degree (Chemical / Process / Mechanical) qualification
  • Proven project management experience working on industrial projects – preferably food and dairy industry projects
  • On site experience seeing projects through from concept to onsite commissioning
  • Experience with contract management, contractor management and contract variations 

This is an opportunity to work on a variety of design and build projects (new and upgrades). A hands-on role working with a great bunch of engineers, and where there is potential for further career advancement opportunities.
 
With on-site commissioning, the role will require occasional travel.
