Project Quantity Surveyor

This job suits an experienced Quantity Surveyor who can autonomously manage new work and enjoys working across complex projects with diverse stakeholders. This isn’t an administration position but a commercially driven and client centric role where you will work closely with the Project Manager to deliver quality projects within budget. You will play an integral role on the Project delivery team, including fostering great relationships with the clients, consultants and sub-contractors.
You will manage procurement and letting of a range of contracts, payment claims, variations and claims and prepare detailed management reports. You will proactively look for value engineering options, identify potential risks and find solutions to ensure successful project delivery.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Several years working as a Quantity Surveying on commercial grade projects
- Good knowledge of New Zealand Contracts
- Good communication and relationship management skills
- Relevant QS qualification preferred
- Relaxed approach and excellent interpersonal skills
