Invercargill – Project Coordination – Multi-disciplinary projects

Our Invercargill-based client is one of the largest operators in the Southland region. The company currently employs roughly 700 staff and during over 50 years of operation nearly 300 of them have worked there for over 20 years. On top of that, over 150 have reached the 30-year milestone, so clearly, they are doing something right.

With plenty of work underway there is a need for a Projects Coordinator to work on the numerous multi-disciplined capital projects in supporting the scoping, planning, scheduling, finance, control and reporting of project delivery.

In particular, you will:

  • Engage with stakeholders to define project work plans
  • Support in identifying project priorities, objectives, scope controls and schedules
  • Analyse, track, and report on project actuals versus forecast
  • Assist is project control continuous improvements and standardising project control services

The person.
As our Projects Coordinator you will have:

  • Proven experience working with project coordination, including project planning, scheduling, tracking, control and reporting.
  • Advanced level capability working with Excel to be able to track and manage projects.
  • Proven risk management experience.
  • Systems thinking and experience with process documentation.

You will be a multi-tasker who has sound communication skills with proven experience working with engineers, contractors and consultants, and be a people person who is proactive in picking up the phone to get things done.
