Senior Project Manager (Civil)
With opportunity arising in the civil & infrastructure sector my client is recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join their Christchurch civil infrastructure team. You will be joining a business who pride themselves on working in an informal and collaborative environment to deliver innovative project strategy and delivery to a range of clients.
Representing the client’s interest you will support business case development and lead the design process to drive value and manage project risks. You will then lead the detailed project planning and programming and on to the procurement of the delivery team. Working as the client rep you will manage the client’s interest during construction, including liaising with multiple stakeholders to provide surety around cost, quality and time.
Projects will be diverse in size, complexity and sector and you will be comfortable in working across multiple engagements from Airports and Ports through to Roading, 3 Waters and urban design.

We are seeking
- Project Management Expertise (Client side or Consulting)
- Experience working as Engineer to the contract
- Experience on civil infrastructure projects in New Zealand
- Good knowledge of NZ3910
- Experience with design coordination / management
- Related Tertiary Qualifications
- Outstanding communication & interpersonal skills
- Professional in approach
