Andy was born and raised in Zululand where he got a taste for adventure and off-the-grid travel. After leaving South Africa in 1999 he travelled the world playing Rugby and ended up in New Zealand in 2001, which is where he decided to settle down. Andy has worked in engineering and primary industries all over the world, He fondly remembers Papua New Guinea, where he worked in the Oil and Gas sector.
